Alright, so here we have the unit shipped in. Mint green and white packaging.

Opening up the box you'll notice a very well packaged product. Chances of damage are fairly slim. Included also is a box with power adapter and one CAT6E LAN cables, a Windows setup guide and license.

First impressions, nice looking device in black, I like that. Bundled you'll find everything you need to get started. Power cable and adapter, Cat6e Ethernet cable, and a manual as well as screws to secure the storage units like HDD and SSDs (which you obviously still need to buy). This unit has a 60GB SSD built in for its operating system.

The front side of the W4000+ unit looks a bit monotonous when it's powered off really. You are looking at the drive bay door, behind it four drive trays. The front panel has activity LEDs harbored in it. The Thecus W4000+ measures 7.56" x 6.77" x 9.84" (H x W x D). This unit weighs in at roughly 14.55 lbs. This mainly is due to the fact that the outer casing is metal, the W4000+ feels like a very sturdy product I must say.
