Alright, so here we have the unit. Thecus is using a clean (and energy friendly feel) and white packaging. Inside is the NAS unit, manual, CAT6 cable and power adapter.
 

Opening up the box you'll notice a well packaged product. Chances of damage are fairly slim. Our unit shipped all the way from Taiwan to the EU, and it is in top notch condition. Lots of plastic, Styrofoam and cardboard would be the keywords here.
  

The front side of the N2810 unit immediately gives you the impression of a sturdy NAS unit. This model has two HDD trays. The N2810 measures 146 x 102 x 213 (mm) / 5.17 x 4.02 x 8.39 (in). This unit is a heavyweight product alright at roughly 3kg, mainly as the casing is metal, which makes this a very sturdy product I must say.
 

A nice looking device in black, I like it. Bundled you'll find everything you need to get started; power adapter (brick), Cat6e Ethernet cable, and of course a driver CD and manual as well as screws to secure the storage units like HDDs and SSDs (which you obviously still need to buy). I still have to peel off some protective stickers I now see ;)
