Here we have the high static pressure fans. You get two of these, three 120mm and PWM based as stated. Overall these are pretty good fans, however once the fans reach full RPM (roughly ~2,800) you will hear them. The software however never allows them to pass ~50% (unless you alter that manually). You can select multiple preset modes ranging from silent to performance in the software though. The default configuration keeps things silent. And it is that, very silent. The fans have rubber inserts at the screw location, preventing resonating noises. NZXT calls these Aer P series of high static pressure fans, which feature chamfered intake and exhausts, winglet designed fan blades and fluid dynamic bearings. 

When we flip it around we see the radiator a little better. Easy to mount, most big-tower chassis have pre-fitted holes and space for 240/280/360 mm rads these days. The Kraken X72 is a 360mm model. The radiator measures 394 x 120 x 27mm.
 

 
Here we have the cooling block. Inside is the pump as well. There will be quite a bit of cabling tied to the unit though. USB connector, fans and a power cable. There is a lot of LED magic behind that top plate, we'll show you that later on though.

When we flip the CPU cooling block/pump around we see an all copper base, with TIM (thermal grease) already applied for you. Not exactly a mirror / lapped finish though the performance really is good as you'll find out soon enough. On the opposing side the fans feed themselves, one cable needs to go towards your motherboard, one power cable and then that USB connector leads towards your USB port for the CAM connection. Notice the screws on the block? That's pretty much a signature for ASETEK, so they likely are the ODM.
