We can spot the power connectors at the top side of the card. The R6970 Lightning will actually require two 8-pin PCIe PEG power connectors.

If we zoom in at the PCB a little deeper to the left we can see phase activity LEDs and to the right a series of micro switches. These are for the die-hard overclockers cooling with LN2 etc. The OCP Unlock switch removes over current protection, unlocks GPU and MEM voltage switches. it's wise to leave these switches as is, unless you plan to sub-zero cool the GPU and other essential components.

Here we connect a V-point cable to the header, now you can use any kind of multi-meter to measure either the GPU or memory voltage. It's rather excessive for the regular user, but there are LN2 overclockers out there that feel something wiggle in their pants right now.
