There's a lot going on the backside of the card. Above you can see You can spot NEC Proadlizers (Prompt, Broadband, Stabilizer) capacitors which offer ultra-high capacitance ratings. Basically they clean up the power signal.
At the top side of the graphics card, when you look a little more closely you'll spot a switch, it allows you to select a fan profile, silent or performance. Keep it at default we say, as that remains really silent yet retains excellent cooling.
Make note of two CrossfireX connectors, this card can be set up in 2/3/4-way multi-GPU mode. We'll be testing that in a separate article of course.
