HTF-2 Dual Radiator Radiator & Papst Fans

RadiatorSo once we make sure everything has been hooked up to all the plastic pipes and is secured tightly to the cooling blocks, pump and water reservoir, we just need to check one more essential component, don't we? We need to cool down that distilled water we are using and that's being done by a system that is no different from the technology used in your car. A radiator. In simple wording, the water will be led through a narrow yet extensive network of pipelines, these little pipes are easy to cool down by blowing air over them.

The huge radiator being used in this kit has two high-output, yet silent, papst fans mounted on it, which can be switched to a 7 or 12 volt mode depending on what sound level or level of cooling you require. Neither setting is too loud in my opinion, 7 volts is preferred however. The radiator itself is one of the best radiators around (at this time), it's the mega huge HTF-2 Dual Radiator, a stainless steel radiator. This is serious guy stuff! Seriously, I have yet to find a girl who will look at it and say, ooh that's sexy. Ed: but if you do she's a keeper! ;)

The HTF-2 has been mounted with a holding bracket which can be fitted into the top of the Chieftec case perfectly. Again, since this was a premod case that was all done for us. I have to say it looks beautiful at that spot. BTW the reason why it fits into a Chieftec case is simple, the case has room for two PSU units, since we only need one we can use the other PSU space for placing a radiator.

It's the little things, I always say. The tubing is nicely guided through system holes.
