Installing - Prepped the Mainboard !
Flip the board around once more and we can see the four guides secured by a washer and a screw. This solution will clamp the waterblock to the CPU.
It's a bit tricky as placing the mainboard into the case is obstructed a little bit by all the stiff tubing and such. It's quite a delicate procedure. Most of all, just don't rush this job.
After installing the mainboard we now carefully place the CPU cooling block (don't forget to apply a little thermal compound on the CPU) on the guides where it's nicely nested. The last important step is to place 4 springs over the guides, then secure the cooler with thumbscrews. Really easy stuff. Just do not screw it tight all the way down. When you feel tensions on the springs, turn it about 10 more times and it's secure.
Right, after installing the CPU block it's time for the rest of the stuff. Seriously people, no jokes here .. I call this rig 'Organized Chaos'.
yes Yes YES... what a mess huh? All cables will be a bit more tidy in the future ;) Serial ATA will help also !
