9. What's the best part of your rig?
The laser cut Silverstone logo. The front panel mod was the whole reason I revisited this build...oh, and there was a slight leak too
10. Any dislikes, things you should not have bought?
I have never liked the GPU cables, they are a single power cable that branches off into two connectors.
11. Did you modify anything ? cases/video cards/other? Did you do it yourself? Walk us through it.
The case has had some heavy modding done. As mentioned there was a lasercut front peice added to the 5.25" bays. The mid plate has been covered over and the bottom motherboard tray has had additions added to prevent being able to see through to the over side. Also a "blanking" plate has been added to hide the front audio and power cables connecting to the motherboard.
12. Your 3DMark scores
4,100. I have never been big into benchmarking, but it's interesting I guess.
System temps using Prime95 blend
- Ambient 20c
- CPU idle 30c
- CPU max 49c (boosted to 4.0Ghz)
- GPU idle 30c
- GPU max 43c (during 3DMark graphics card test)
13. Do you have any future updates planned ?
The only thing I will upgrade is the graphics cards and system storage. But for the moment my needs are being met.
14. Does your rig or mod have a name ?
TS1 or The Silent One. I named it this in the hopes it would be near silent, which didn't turn out....but better then an aircooled system.
