9. What's the best part of your rig?
The copper pipes and the fact that the hardware is placed at the outside of the case. Also with the fans on the radiators cooling the water and the hardware at the same time makes it really a unique case in my opinion.
10. Any dislikes, things you should not have bought?
No not really, but If I really have to pick something: At the start of my project I had chosen to use pure aluminum because of its price. But at the end it turned out to be very hard to weld and paint, costing me more than the alternative metals.
11. Did you modify anything ? cases/video cards/other? Did you do it yourself? Walk us through it.
A few years ago I got really impressed by all the nice rigs in the rig of the month section and wanted to build one myself. With only some experience in installing watercooling and PC hardware, I first had to do lots of research on which materials and tools to use before I could start my first real "Casemod".
As you can probably see, the case is a custom design build from the ground up. Except from the welding, that had to be done by a professional I did everything myself. It took me over a year to finish because of the learning process and me being a perfectionist. But the end result is something I can be proud of.
12. Your 3DMark scores
I haven't done them yet and on the other hand 2 x HD5870 isn't going to give any special results anyway.
13. Do you have any Future updates planned ?
Yes, the graphic cards need to be updated and I also would like to install some extra LED's on top of the motherboard and graphic cards.
14. Does your rig or mod have a name ?
I didn't really had a name for it but lets call it: "The Cuprum Tower", which stands for the copper tower.
