The card's GPU power phases can be monitored; each phase has an LED representing the activated phases. I know you can discuss functionality here as it is a little gimmicky, but granted it does look nice inside the PC alright.

See that 'X' button ? That is the switch to activate the second BIOS on this graphics card. There is a default BIOS with the factory clocks and one LN2 BIOS. Switchable with a simple LED based button. The LN2 mode is for extreme overclocking and prevents potential cold bug issues. Features like these are for a very slim audience though, but both are programmable ... you could use that LN2 BIOS and save a special competition setup in there with corresponding voltages and clock frequencies.

The GeForce GTX 480 has a maximum power consumption of 250~275 Watts, you'll need to power the card with a 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe PEG lead from your power supply.

Like any high-end GeForce graphics card, NVIDIA will allow you to opt for the multi-GPU road with SLI as an option. You can pair two or three cards in one PC and have them do a decent workout.
