The card remains passive thanks to it's massive cooling solution, up-to a GPU temperature of 60 Degrees C the fans do not even spin. Now on the previous page I already mentioned that the card is big, and yes .. it is heavy too weighing roughly 1.4kg. You need to make sure you secure the graphics card really well. If you would not use thumbscrews on the IO plate, this card would break through a PCI slot when mounted horizontally.

Gigabyte placed a slab of copper back plate cooling on the rear side to function as heatsink, the GPU area is exposed. Basically a big heatsink made out of copper, quite expensive to do actually. Excessive heat from GPU not only gets dissipated utilizing the massive cooling module in the front but also through the back side with a big copper plate, providing a well-rounded thermal solution for the GPU.

The card is roughly 12 inches in length which is 30~31 cm so it will need some space inside your chassis alright. Please do make sure it actually fits. For those that wonder, the board is equipped with Micron GDDR5X memory ICs. An actual 10 phase power supply is responsible for supplying the GP104-400 GPU with power with two added phases for memory.

RGB LEDs are a bit of a trend and like everybody Gigabyte follows. The LED system can be controlled individually by choosing any of the animation effects available in software, ranging from breathing and flashing. Of course, you can also turn them off.

And yes, I do think that is a nice looking product with the accents and matte black. Again I am not a fan of too many logos with actual text. Perhaps next rime drop the Aorus text and just use the logo itself? Perhaps I am just nitpicking though.

So basically the front, top and backside this can be RGB LED regulated in any color you wish alongside static, breathing and other animations of your choice.
