Gigabyte G1.Assassin 2

Let's move onwards to the lower side (away from the bullets!) where we stumble into a bunch of SATA connectors. You'll see eight SATA ports.

Four of them are SATA2 (Intel chipset) ports, then the two grey ones are SATA 6G through Marvell 88SE9172 controllers, and then all the way to the right in whote another two SATA3 (6Gbps) ports deriving from the Intel chipset (the best and fastest SATA3 ports available. A second Marvell 88SE9172 IC provides 2 x eSATA 6Gb/s connectors (eSATA/USB Combo) on the back panel supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices.

Smack down in the middle you can see a USB 3.0 extension connector. What frustrates me a little is that there are no physical power/reset buttons on this motherboard. And yes, the pistol  themed heatsink ... I won't even comment on it but I'm sure that if you are 14 years old you'd be fascinated by it.

See, once you move the board to the left side of the motherboard (depending how you look at it) you'll notice that it's has more connectors, mostly extra USB 2.0, frontpanel, audio headers and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) header.
