If we rotate the card and look at the backside we can see two SLI connectors, yes -- that means four cards in quad-SLI GPU mode is supported. Quad SLI however is difficult and a maze of driver problems, NVIDIA has never really recommended and actively supported quad-SLI. But for a handful of benchmarks and sheer e-peen, it will work OK'ish. We really recommend to go with a maximum of two or maybe three cards. In fact, during our launch reviews we'll look at 2 and 3-way SLI performance with the Titans as well.

If we zoom in a bit we can see one RAM IC from Samsung. This is high density GDDR5 memory, NVIDIA tucked 6 GB of graphics memory onto this card (24 pieces of 64M ×16 GDDR5 SDRAM). So it's unlikely to hear you guys complain about the lack of framebuffer anytime soon ;)

For the GeForce GTX Titan launch we'll have multiple articles ranging from single GPU to 2 and 3-way SLI. We'll also look at performance based on high-end yet more moderate processors and then on the X79 platform with an overclocked Core i7 3960X running at 4600 MHz.

So overall you are going to witness some pretty interesting stuff in the upcoming days. That's it for this photoshoot though.
