Very convenient obviously are the power on/off and reset buttons. Once you go for quad graphics cards though, these buttons fall under the 4th card and render themselves inaccessible. Perhaps eVGA can relocated them in future revisions, somewhere near the DIMM slots would be ideal.

So here you can see the final and this time working setup. We have liquid cooling (dual 120mm fan radiator) dedicated to the processor (Core i7 980 Extreme).

We have one 1200 Watt PSU feeding the motherboard and two cards. The two cards to your left are fed by dedicated 1200 Watt power supply as well.

We simply hotwire the PSU to activate it and then it can feed the two cards. This way we make sure we have maximum stability and our PSUs will not run into any issues under heavy load. So that's a total of 2400 Watt of PSU power available.

It is insane, but especially with a heavy overclock on the processor and then on four GPUs (with voltages increased) we expect to peak to 1500 Watt power consumption. Crazy stuff. We'll keep an eye on power consumption though and at the end of this article we'll look into that a bit deeper.
