GeForce GTX 465 SLI

Above the GeForce GTX 465 as presented by AIC/AIB Point of View. Now if you tend to think, "hey that does look familiar somehow" ... then look at the next photo.

GeForce GTX series 400

Above you can see the GeForce GTX 470. And yes correct, the GTX 465 uses the very same PCB, the same cooler and for that matter, the same GPU. The only thing different will be the BIOS.

Despite being castrated a little, this little card has plenty performance left under its hood. Targeted at a MSRP of roughly 279 USD it packs 1024MB of gDDR5 memory, its core frequency is clocked at roughly 600, its shader processors at 1215 MHz and that memory at 3200 MHz (data-rate).

The TDP is a little lower opposed to its big brother, a more convenient at 200 Watts, which still is a little bit on the high side compared to an R5830 rated at 175W, it's not a big difference though. Overall, a nice dark themed looking card, offering a nice powerful bite in performance. Point of View applies a sticker with the card's theme.

A very clean backside, it's interesting to see that the new reference models all have a gap in the PCB at the cooler location, likely drawing some more cold air into the cooler. The cooler itself it not at all noisy.

And again to prove a point .. this is the GeForce GTX 470, 100% the same PCB, layout and components.
