As always, we'll start off this review with our in-house photo-shoot. A few pages that show the ins and outs with photos, to get you a better idea to grasp what we are talking about in today's article.

So, the HOF is a more enthusiast class 1070 Ti SKU that GALAX/KFA2delivers. They completely overhauled 1070 Ti, nothing = reference design as they merely use an official Pascal GPU.

The card has one HDMI port and three DisplayPort connectors. Obviously, it has some LED elements as well. Once this card powers up, two things will come to mind: pretty nice aesthetics and the sheer silence it offers. Very nice. As board partners are not allowed to release the 1070 Ti model cards in their own configurations you will see many versions differentiating based on coolers and PCB design.

  • Boost: 1,683 MHz / Base: 1,607 MHz
  • Memory 8.0 Gbps GDDR5 (effective data-rate)
You can tweak the card with the help of a factory configured overclock mode. This, however, is a software-based solution and needs to be applied after each and every restart. We'll talk a little more about it later on in the article though. Once this card powers up, two things will come to mind: great aesthetics and the sheer silence it offers. Very nice.

The card itself is wide, with a triple-slot heat-pipe based cooling solution. In low-load situations fans are not needed, thus up-to roughly 60 Degrees C, the fans won't spin, making this product hybrid in the sense that it cools both actively and passively.

The top side has RGB LEDs embedded in this graphics card, that can be controlled with included software. Check out the backside where there is a thick sturdy metal back-plate present; there are a few ventilation gaps, though I'd like to see that improved (more gaps). At the backside, you will see a LED activated Hall of Fame logo (once powered on). The 1070 Ti cards have a power design of 180 Watts, however, AIB partners applied complex phase designs as they overclock/tweak really well. So purely based on the tweaking design, expect some more power allowances. We'll check into that with our power measurements. The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is DisplayPort 1.2 certified and DP 1.3/1.4 Ready, enabling support for 4K displays at 120Hz, 5K displays at 60Hz, and 8K displays at 60Hz. This model includes three DisplayPort connectors, one HDMI 2.0b connector, and one dual-link DVI connector.

Here is something included you do not see every day, this extendible bar can be used to mount the card, as it weighs nearly 1.3kg. Obviously, it is optional to use, but if you have a LAN party rig and drag around your PC a lot, this could be rather handy as it does secure that graphics card tightly inside your PC case.
