EVGA Z77 FTW

Ivy Bridge will have an IGP embedded into the processor die hence you'll spot monitor connectors in the form of a small display port connector. Furthermore you'll spot a S/PDIF audio output connector, CLEAR CMOS button, eSATA 6GBPs ports, two Gigabit LAN RJ-45 connector (Marvell controller),  four USB 3.0 ports and six USB 2.0 ports. All the way to the right you'll spot the 8-channel analog audio outputs. Audio is managed by an 8-channel audio codec from Realtek.

The board uses 100% native USB 3.0 from both Intel and Asmedia controllers and SATA 6G, 4-Way SLI on PCI-E 3.0, dual Gigabit NICs and a Mini DisplayPort connector are all included on the board. Sitting behind the rear IO we see a rather sizable heatsink. The board just screams overclocking.

The Z77 FTW offers dual 8 pin CPU power connectors for maximum stability and extreme overclocking. After that a 7+1 Phase PWM, POSCAP Capacitors and a CPU socket with 300% increase in gold content deliver clean, stable power to your CPU.

When we zoom into the rear right of the IO panel a little we spot a 6-pin power connector. The board actually has two of these so bring more powah to the graphics solution at hand, EVGA has added dual 6 PIN PCI-E power connectors. Use a single 6 Pin PCI-E power connector for multi-card stability, or a second for extreme overclocking.
