DX9: Hard Reset

DX9: Hard Reset

Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive FPS from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive.
In development since April 2009, the game features a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner in story). In gameplay, Serious Sam is the main inspiration; explosive barrels and large hordes of enemies will be prominent within the game. There is no multiplayer.

Hard Reset was added into our benchmark suite as it has a handy to use benchmark mode that is very representative of the in-game graphics engine performance. Above the reference GTX 670 and the EVGA SC version. The default tweak that the SC version has gives the card a bit of an extra kick.

EVGA GeForce GTX 670 SC

Not too many other results for now as we just recently inserted this benchmark. But as you can see the GeForce GTX 670 definitely likes DX9 titles. Impressive performance, and as you'll see throughout the test sessions -- the EVGA GeForce GTX 670 SC is in-between the GTX 670 and GTX 680 and mostly in front of the Radeon HD 7970 as well. The GTX 670 is a serious threat for the R7900 series to be honest.
