GeForce GTX 465

We start off with the box and bundle. As you can see, SC (Super Clocked) is clearly marked on the box.

Included in the bundle you'll find the regular like DVI converter, 6-pin PEG power headers, manual and driver CD. It's nice to see a full HDMI cable included in the package.

Above is the GeForce GTX 465 as presented by eVGA. Now if you tend to think, "hey that does look familiar somehow" then sure, then look at the next photo.

GeForce GTX series 400

This is the GeForce GTX 470. And yes correct, the GTX 465 apparently uses the very same PCB, the same cooler and for that matter, the same GPU. The only thing different will be the BIOS. Several people already flashed a GTX 470 BIOS into the GTX 465 - some with others without success.

Despite being castrated a little, this little card has quite decent performance. Targeted at a MSRP of roughly 279 USD it packs 1024MB of gDDR5 memory, its core frequency is clocked at 625 MHz coming from 607, its shader processors at 1250 Mhz coming from 1215 MHz and that memory at 3200 MHz (data-rate) is now clocked at 3240 Mhz on the eVGA SC model.

The TDP is a little lower opposed to its big brother at 200 Watts, which still somewhat on the high side compared to an R5830 rated at 175W.. Overall, a nice dark themed looking card.
