Copntrol Software - CUE

Without CUE installed, the ST100 RGB Premium will still work as a headset stand and the USB pass-thru will still be active, however, you get a default lighting mode and obviously cannot control stuff like the sound card equalizer and surround mode.

Corsair is doing a pretty nice job with the lighting modes and zones, as the effects are smooth and responsive, it just looks really good.

Once you installed the software, the audio card can be configured. At default, it will be set in stereo mode. You will have the option of several equalizer modes, select one of your preference really, it just leave it at defaults (neutral).

Do not expect miracles from the soundcard, it is just a funky little addition that has little to do with audiophile grade audio quality, of course. The audio overall sounded fine, clean and crisp really. Whether or not to choose Virtualized 7.1 audio is up-to you, of course, overall we feel Stereo is lovely for music, and 7.1 virtual surround sound with games.
