So, to the left the Core i7 2600K processor, and to the right the Core i5 2500K. Familiar looking alright, processor package size wise.

The one distinction you'll notice though is that the new Sandy Bridge processors are housed on the new LGA 1155 package, meaning a slightly renewed CPU socket. The good news is that your Socket 1156 processor coolers will all fit perfectly on the slightly revised Socket LGA 1155.
