Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000W PSU review -
Product Showcase
There is one top fan; a Silent Pro Hybrid 135mm Hydraulic Dynamic Bearing fan. The power supply stays fairly cool, even during a 700 Watt stress test the PSU remained lukewarm at most.

The PSU has a slightly longer than standard ATX design, but it'll fit in practically any chassis, its dimensions are: 150 x 180 x 86mm (W x L x H).

The product is rated at a MTBF of 100,000 hours. Divide it by 24 hours and 365 days a year and that would be 11.5 years. You receive a 5 year warranty on this power supply series by the way. Above, you can see the modular lead connectors.

When it comes to wiring we feel that there are enough connectors for a 1000W model.
- M/B 24 Pin Connector x 1
- CPU 8 Pin x 2
- PCI-E 8 Pin x 3
- PCI-E 6+2 Pin x 3
- SATA x 12
- 4 Pin Peripheral x 5
- 4 Pin Floppy x 1
All cables are extremely nice in length by the way.

The ATX motherboard connector reached a very good 55 cm, the Molex and SATA power cables over 100 cm, the 8-pin CPU ATX power connectors are 65 cm (great length) and the PCIE graphics connectors reach 80 cm. Graphics card wise you get to play with a good six 6+2 Pin PCIe connectors, so up to three graphics cards with two PCIe headers each can be served directly by the power supply itself.
What is lovely is that all cabling is either sleeved with dark colored connectors or is made out of flexible bendy flat cable.

Above, the test setup with four GPUs installed (GeForce GTX 590 cards).
