As we start up this article, we start with the photo-shoot. As always we start off with packaging. Here is the box in the distinctive black and purple Cooler Master house style color, denoting the H500P chassis. Gross weight is 15 kg in front of you right there, the empty chassis with glass panel weights in at an 11 kg net weight.

The chassis is packaged well and comes protected in Styrofoam and a cover bag. You gotta love the simplicity there as you just pull the bag out of the box and behold, the chassis. Inside that bag the chassis is covered with a plastic bag and the see-through elements have another plastic wrap for protection.

And once unpacked you get a first impression of what the chassis is all about. Keywords are see-through at the front, top and left side with large meshes and two big fans at the front. The chassis might not carry the HAF designation, but it shares its DNA and is a High AirFlow design. The chassis base is metal with a plastic top and front side plexi-glass. The right side panel is nice thick metal, the left side (we'll show it on the next page) reveals a tempered glass panel.
