With the MasterCase 5 and MasterCase Pro 5 You'll get place for two 5.25" Drive bays (exposed). Who needs optical storage anyway ? But let's examine the front panel and bezel a bit more up-close and personal first.

The front panel features two 3.0 ports with standard motherboard headers audio in and outputs next to power on and reset. The power button has a power/on/off LED and all the way to the left you can see a small white HDD/SSD/Storage unit activity LED. Admittedly on USB ports, this is on the shy side. No fan control, no lighting control and only two USB connectors is a little dim.

As stated there are two 5.25" drives are exposed at the top side when used, there is plenty storage space really especially with the Pro model which comes with an extra HDD cage. So drives wise 5.25" Drive Bays 2 (exposed), 2x 3.5" Drive Bays  and 2x 1.5" Drive Bays for SSDs. For the Pro model you'll get extra storage room for 3x HDDs with an extra bay, bringing the number to 5x 3.5" The HDD/SSD bays can be removed very easily by turning thumbscrews at the front and backside. Very configurable.

Once you pull the dustfilter/mesh at bottom side it comes out, you can house fans or a radiator there up-to 40 mm thick in 240 mm and 280 mm radiator sizes. Once you upgrade to the Pro model you can house a liquid cooling unit in the top with a max size of 240/280 mm and 64 mm depth which would be the proper implementation of such a unit.
