Product Showcase - The Build
Right, you'll receive a nice LED strip with the chassis. One color only though, Guru3D Blue :) You place it in the upper or lower segment (use the double sided 3m tape that is included) and you lead the power connector to a power Molex or Sata (can't remember which it was). There is no control furthermore for that unit, it's on or off.
Here you can see the chassis finalized a little better. It looks a little thinner in the photo than it is in reality. The LED strip is just the right amount of light, remember with the tempered glass panel closed the light is diffused/dimmed a bit.
Here is the left side view. I still need to finish up wiring here and insert a graphics card. If your motherboard would allow it, you can insert four of them, dual-slot. Motherboard installation is rather simple. The chassis will allow all standard and non-standard formats like Micro ATX / ATX and XL-ATX motherboard form factors so the entire scope is covered.
Oh yeah, searching MP3 tunes - R. Kelly, I believe I can fly... she's about to spread her wings and take off. Top side, the controller: You can control up-to 10 fans and tie them to front, top, HDD and GPU fans. The LED button can enable/disable LED fans (extra power connectors have been embedded into the wiring as well for these.
Mind you that all fans are and can be PWM controlled, so if your motherboard allows it, you can control the fan RPM. The fans themselves are as noisy as you want them to be, but overall the chassis will produce a very low to normal noise level if you keep all fans at say normal rotation, and that will offer you a truckload of airflow. The CM Cosmos II is an excellent chassis alright.
The tempered glass is tinted with a black coating. I expected all wiring on the right side to show badly, but honestly that doesn't look even half bad, thus yes, I am savvy wis dat!
Yeah it is something special to look at really. An man is she heavy! With all components fitted we are nearing a frickin 25 maybe 30 KG!!!
