Here you can see the left side panel. Now this is the closed model, there's a window version available as well. The honeycomb mesh is there for ventilation. Luckily there's lots of it with fan mounts.

When we flip the chassis around then on the right side panel we miss an opening the predecessor did have. Look at the side panel indentation though, the chassis itself already has 2cm clearance for cable routing and then add to that the panel. So yes, there is plenty of space for cable routing.
The rear of the chassis is very diverse. We see that everything is black, including the retention holder for your PCI(e) cards up to the black thumbscrews to secure them. On top we see three nice big grommet holes for water-cooling tubing (with rubber inlays, the I/O slot and a 120mm fan.
Very hard to see on the photo, but to the middle right there is a vertical slot. This can be used for expansion brackets that plug into the headers on your motherboard, this could be beneficial to people that need large amounts of USB or Firewire brackets. This is what we call the traditional Expansion Slots 7+1 configuration.
