Compro IP70

So there we have it. First things first, dimensions: 84 x 124.5 x 91.5 mm (including bracket).

The camera has a maximum resolution of 640x480 at 30fps or 1280x1024 at 15fps, The camera can handle  MPEG-4, H.264 and M-JPEG codecs and can simultaneously output two video streams in different formats and resolutions, so you can also get a dedicated stream to view on mobile phones.

The frontside of the cammy shows a light and camera sensors with IR lamp for video. The little mesh you see there is in fact a speaker, combined with a pinhole microphone audio is setup in two-way audio. Meaning you could speak to each other from different locations.

A LED indicator emits blue light to specify a good network connection and flashes red if it has a problem. Night vision is provided by glowing red IR LEDs (six) that activate automatically when light levels drop or which can be enabled by a timetable. The camera itself uses a 1/3in CMOS sensor and a fixed 4mm (32mm equivalent) f1.5 lens.

As you can see the camera is not a PTZ model, meaning you need to fix it at your desired location with a fixed viewpoint. There there is no zoom, or y/x axis controls available. See the USB extension ? Compro makes an optional WL155 wireless adaptor available, yet you'll spot it no-where in the stores. Hence WIFi is pretty much a no-go, a shame as especially for households WIFI is much preferred.

At the backside we can see that USB a little better, you'll also spot 3.5mm audio and microphone jacks, an Ethernet port (100Mbit) and an I/O port. Look closely and you'll also spot a reset button. Very convenient is a MicroSD card slot  located to the right, if you do not want to store on or over the network you can use this as internal storage.
