CPU Scaling

If you are wondering, what would be the effect of a four-core versus an eight-core processor for this the game? Well, let's test just that a couple of procs!. I have a quick chart I would like to show you, the results below are based on default clock frequencies as well as a couple of tweaked processors.

Above you can observe a bar chart, stacked based on resolutions and processors. All procs behave roughly in the same spectrum. COD does like fast clocked processors, but even with a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, that difference starts to diminish once you pass a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. have a look at the next line chart.

So here we take the very same data, yet no plot it into a line chart spread out over resolution. As you can see, aside from minor offsets, at 1080p really you're good to go with any processor. Once you completely break free from the GPU we reach 1280x720 pixels. I inserted it for the fun of it as I know some of you like to check the effect of the processors at low resolutions.
