The Dark power Pro 600 Watt and it's standard cardboard box. Very nice design and a lot of attention went into the packaging. In it obviously all components including the PSU which is ATX and BTX form factor ready.

If you look at the label closely you'll notice that the PSU can peak at 680 Watts, now that's power. On the front side of the photo we see a grill/mesh for optimal airflow. It also eliminates the extra noise of second (additional) fan.

The PSU is nicely coated with a black metallic paint. The little connector all the way to your left can be connected to a FAN connector on your mainboard. it's the "smart" wire that will allow you to monitor rotational speed from your system.

You'll receive plenty of connectivity.

  • 6x S-ATA connector
  • 8x 4-pin connector
  • 1x floppy connector
  • 2x PCI-E connector
  • 1x P4/P8 12V connector
  • 1x 20/24-pin ATX connector

The cables are sleeved beautifully and are long enough to reach anything in your case. It's even color coded and thus fool proof. If you look at the connectors a little closer you'll notice a bumpy something under that tape. It's some sort of protection. You don't fry your components if for whatever reason that rails should overvolt, nope you'll fry the protection in the cable first. According to the manual this protection also brings another advantage, 50% less ripple noise.

The new 24 PIN ATX connector is becoming more and more standard. Should you have an older mainboard, a 20-pin adapter is also supplied, so no worries there.
