Internal I/O

This card has a number of internal I/O connectors to expand the features and options.

Above we see an auxiliary input connector that can be used for TV tuner cards or other devices that need an analog input.  Another great use for these connectors is using a modified PCI shield and expanding this input to the outside or the case allowing you to have two line level inputs.

On the top corner of the card we have the usual front panel Audio header for connection with the front panel audio headers which seem to be available on most cases.

The Extension header on this card is a proprietary pin header for use with their X-Tension DIN card.  We have an X-Tension Din in our reference collections so lets connect up the boards and have a look:

The X-tension DIN board can add more features and I/O to this card such as Midi DIN I/O, Microphone Jack, Digital I/O combo jacks and a DIN connector for certain speaker types.

This could be termed a Deluxe model but for the average user this board has little features, it is more for the home recording experts.
