Asus Xonar Xense 7.1 Soundcard  - Introduction

ASUS XSenseThe announcement of their entry into the audio market was considered an experiment by many.

Audio lovers figured Asus would release a card or two, grow tired of the smaller audio market relatively fast and get back to their major markets such as the motherboards and graphics segments.  Asus has just passed its 3rd year in the soundcard market and with so many popular cards under their belt it has become apparent to many that ASUS is here to stay in the PC audio world.  Looking over their current product line up they are using their ever increasing foothold to show the audio community exactly what they are capable of in this market segment.  This is the Xonar Sound machine.

The Xonar sound machine has been gaining traction in the audio world with the highly popular Essence series.  Asus recently announced that they have teamed up with Sennheiser, a proverbial powerhouse in the audiophile headphone market to bring audio lovers the Xonar Xense 7.1 soundcard bundle.

Today in the Guru3D Audio Lab we have a brand new Xonar Xense 7.1 bundle to put through its paces, so without further delay, lets get to it.

ASUS Xonar Essence ST Sneak Preview | test
The PC audio market has been churning out some great new high fidelity soundcards lately. A good example here is the recent release of the new Essence STX headphone card, which stirred up the audio community and caught the attention of people who usually look for external headphone amplifiers. Some of you may know there were rumors of ASUS expanding the Essence Line-up with possibly a PCI model. Guru3D has the prototype the engineering sample of the Essence ST in our audio lab today, and will bring you a sneak preview on it.
