From left to right, that's a combo PS2 keyboard/mouse connector, two USB ports, a digital (optical) S/PDIF Out connector. One IEEE 1394a port, 4 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports, then in blue 2 x USB 3.0 ports and then 2 x eSATA of which one is a USB Combo connector. Handy and unique. We see one Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port and the typical 6 x audio jacks (Center/Subwoofer Speaker Out/Rear Speaker Out/ Side Speaker Out/Line In/Line Out/Microphone).

Audio is managed by the Realtek ALC892 codec which supports High Definition Audio up-to 7.1 channels and actually comes with Dolby Home Theater support these days.

When we flip the board around we stumble into the processor area. Nice and spacious thanks to the cooling, and even a big cooler like the Noctua NH-D14 would fit there. Clean looks surround the LGA 1366 socket alright. To the lower middle of the photo we see a CPU fan header. The board comes with 8 phases on the CPU, the memory has 2 phases available and then two phases for VTT/Memory.

We spot one 8-pin CPU power header; we see quality solid core chokes and obviously the LGA 1366 socket for Core i7 based processors. The board incorporates the latest Ultra Durable components like solid capacitor, ferrite core chokes, quality components and nothing else. This ensures stability -- but also reliability and extended lifespan.

Once we flip the board around once more, we again stumble into the DIMM slots, DDR3 of course. There is DIMM support for six sticks, 1GB / 2GB / 4GB / 8GB DDR3 DRAM sizes -- up-to 24GB in triple-channel configuration.
