To compare an RX 470 delivers roughly 4.9 TFLOPS in single precision performance, a reference RX 460 offers 2.2 TFLOPS. The card has a TDP (peak power consumption) ranked at <75 Watts. The model tested is dual-slot based, 19 cm in length. ASUS did not include a backplate, no biggy whatsoever though.

In its design it'll have 14 CUs x 64 shader processors per CU = 896 Shader processors. You are going to spot a single 6-pin power connector that feeds the four phase design. Basically it delivers 75 Watts and then another 75 Watts is fed though the PCI-Express slot (depending on how the phase distribution is configured) In theory this means enough headroom for tweaking, however this was the worst card ever in terms of tweaking. We'll talk about that later though.

As stated monitor display outputs include one DVI, one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0b connector. That's plenty and quite lovely to see. Overall the card design is terrific in terms of aesthetics. Nice dark looks. The STRIX measures 19 cm in length due to a slightly longer cooler. The PCB itself actually follows a mITX design, at 17 cm.

See that one tiny ROG logo on top? It is configurable in color and animation, it's not much but the Aura LED system is present. A terrific looking card for something in the entry level of course.
