As you can see, for this test we use the Core i7 870 -- Prime 95 was running, Turbo mode then kicks in at 3200 MHz distributed over all logical CPU cores. We spot that hyper-threading is enabled .. 8 threads are available to us. Nice.
Hmmm jup! Lynnfield indeed is Nehalem based, the caches.
Mind you that we flashed the latest BIOS into the motherboard after wee took this particular screenshot hence a somewhat older beta BIOS.
Initial tests runs (not with final memory and frequencies). DDR3 detection is handled properly. We will test at reference 1333 CAS 9 1T, by the way.
