The motherboard really goes to the max as next to the KillerNIC you'll receive additional premium features. Let me show you a couple of them.

The audio circuitry is isolated from other features, you'll enjoy less interference; or that is the general idea here. The Realtek ALC1150 should satisfy audiophiles. It supports 7.1-channel audio and is protected from interference by an EMI cover and PCB isolation. The TI 5532 headphone amplifier supports headphones up to 600 ohms.

ASRock uses a digital 8-phase power supply. The four memory slots support DDR3-3050+ (OC). 3-Way CrossFireX and NVIDIA Quad SLI are supported. When using two VGA cards both are addressed as x8 slots, at three graphics cards two slots will be addressed as x4 only.

Fun detail, this motherboard has two BIOSes wich you can switch, but they aren't soldered onto the motherboard. So if you REALLY screw things up, you would not have to RMA the motherboard, instead you can replace the BIOS yourself really easily. Of course, the Fatal1ty Z87 Killer supports various ASRock technologies such as fast boot, OMG (Online Management Guard), Restart to UEFI or Dehumidifier. Included also is a three-month premium license for the broadcasting software XSplit.
