Product Showcase HTPC Preferences and settings
The audio settings are scarce, volume and you can configure your digital outputs to SPDIF pass-through or PCM. But fair enough, it is all you need anyway.
The video options are scarce as well, you can select your resolution, screen position calibration and aspect ratio. The image settings allow a little tweaking of brightness and contrast etc. Missing here are output format preferences like 24P, perhaps that will be added in the future though.
For network configuration you can use the Wireless N (integrated) or wired (up-to 1 Gigabit). The settings are fairly extensive and obviously you can configure IPs manually or use a DHCP lease from your router.
We did place a Watt meter in-between the device and the wall socket as we where curious about power consumption. With the Veolo power down we see 1 Watt power consumption, and that 6 Watt measurement, well that's during playback of a high bit rate movie. So yeah, this unit uses merely 6 Watts which is crazy when you think about it, especially comparing it to say a fully fledged HTPC.
