The remote control deserves a bit of an introduction as it has three way functionality, the upper keys, the lower deck qwerty keyboard on the backside, and then ... it  functions as a wireless motion controller. So if you press that first button to the left a 'mouse' pointer will become available on your screen. Now if you move your hand left/right/up/down the pointer on the TV will move along with it.

It's the most bizarre thing to see and experience. Though not perfect is does work well. You move you hand to say an icon until the mouse pointer reaches it, and then with the middle button (underneath that red one) you press it, and load up the corresponding app.

Much like your android phone, you'll have five menu screens you can navigate through and install apps onto.

We stated it already, the device is not just a media player, it combines apps, internet, and a media streamer, all on your HDTV. Hence if you like to browse the web, seek something, need to fill out a NAS password, you flip around the remote control and can use it as a keyboard. Pretty handy alright.

So literally this is how you use the remote, there's a pointer on your screen, and by making gestures with your hand the pointer will navigate towards where you need it to be. Pressing the middle button like I do on the photo above will startup the corresponding application. So yeah, the RF remote is a keyboard, mouse and wireless motion controller all in one.
