 Xoxide X500 Case review

By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by  | Published: September 29, 2003

With case mods I always state this: Personally I do not have the time to start case-modding myself nor would I be good at it.

The X500 I can be very short about, I love it ! It's a reasonable silent case and the style and design of the case suit me very much. The inside and of course the exterior have been taken care of well. No sharp edges and everything is in the right place plus there is plenty of space to work with. You just got to love the servo operated door and dandy blue LCD screen.

The front bezel surely is a nice and welcome addition. Almost all mainboard nowadays have 4x USB, which means you always have two USB connectors on your mainboard unused. The X500 front bezel connect to your mainboard and boom, 2x USB on the rear and 2x USB on the front, look well in your mainboard manual to see how it's properly connect though, the same goes for the FireWire connector if your mainboard supports that.

For a very reasonable 105 USD you'll buy some excellent stylish pre-modded fun, if this style suits your preference you'll come to the same conclusion as I will, I like it a lot.

Highly recommended!
