World in Conflict Graphics (PC) Performance overview

We again start at low image quality settings, actually the lowest pre-defined IQ setting in the game. GeForce 8500 and Radeon 2400 class cards and equivalents are what we are talking about here. It's not that bad really. But once you have seen high IQ, this is a tad hard to swallow. Focus on the leaves on the trees, road, building detail and shadows before you move on towards the next slide.

Alright, here we land at the Medium IQ setting. There's just so much more detail here. GeForce 8600 to low-end 8800, Radeon 2600 and equivalent class graphics adapters, this is your stop. Again observe the trees, road, building detail and shadows before you move on towards the next slide.

World in Conflict Graphics (PC) Performance overview

Oh yeah baby; GeForce 8800 640 MB and higher, Radeon HD 2900 XT, meet your date. Look closely at the road, building detail (especially the building in the background, the additional shadows, the trees (And not at all important yet I just realized I recognize the speedtree engine in there). Also closely observe the road detail. This is very texture rich and detailed environment. Absolutely stunning to observe.

Right, let's have a peek at performance. Be afraid, be very afraid.
