 Ultra Aluminus ATX Mid-Tower Case

Aluminus ATX Mid-Tower Case

Ultra Aluminus ATX Mid-Tower Case

Introduction

Ultra are a company who are well known for their innovative product designs. The success of the Ultra X-Connect modular style PSU is what brought the company to most people's attention, yet Ultra products also offer a huge range of other products including memory, cooling products, mp3 players, modding accessories and last but not least cases, one of which we'll take a look at today.

This particular case design has been around for a long while now and has been highly successful. Whilst previous incarnations may not have been particularly fantastic feature wise, and weren't particularly appealing aesthetics wise, they were extremely well built, large, and had great airflow. The main downside was that they were mostly made of steel and weighed an absolute tonne! They could also be considered a little boring, but it depends what you're looking for. Now, what Ultra have done with their Aluminus case is to take an old favourite and revamp it. This case is made out of lightweight aluminium, it has a window, it has 120mm fans plus an 80mm side intake fan, it has rotated and quick release capable HDD racks, it's predominantly screwless and has a gloss finish. The case we received is silver, but there are blue and black versions available.
