 SunBeamtech Acrylic HTPC chassis review

SunBeamTech Acrylic HTPC chassis

Here we have the chassis 99% assembled. It's roughly an hour work, and the sheer number of components is the time killer, it's like solving a jigsaw puzzle at times. But each step you advance things will get more clear.

Now, in a twilight room I have one external UV light active, you can already see the chassis glow and it's not even activated yet. As these four fans will bring the extra Feng Shui to the chassis. So let's make that happen.

So, how do you like that ? We will not finalize the chassis with a complete PC setup, but basically we inserted (not mounted) a noiseless PSU and connected the fans. The four fans have UV lights in them. At daytime the results will be average, but in twilight and dark conditions, the chassis will lit of like a Christmas tree.

I feel that this just looks stunning. Though I can also imagine, this is not your cup of tea. Please bare in mind that if you start inserting components your biggest challenge will be wiring. The case is transparent, you'll see everything and anything. A modular PSU with black sleeved wiring therefore comes highly recommended, just for the sake of aesthetics.
