There's just something so satisfying about being so clinical.

That's Poseidon, bi... oh, hello!  Now that we know that Neptune was called Poseidon, this must make the hot chick on the side his consort, Amphritrite.  SmoothCreation aren't talking about the intent or meaning of their artwork, so we have to go on (under-) educated guess. 

But, uh, I didn't ask them either.  I don't want to be wrong and have to rewrite the article, if you know what I mean. (And wouldn't you know it--I'm told it's just a mermaid.  Does she have a name? Oh, the sadness of being a reviewer...)

The side panel is light blue acrylic, but the porthole is plain clear.  It's pretty funny, actually, to have a clear porthole on a clear case already.  But at least they did the job really well.

A gratuitous shot of the inside again, showing the massive size of the radiator.  That thing ain't going in your Stacker.  It seems to be a Black Ice GTX480 in lovely gold instead of the usual black.  Clearly, the CPU and the video cards are not going to stress this cooling system out.  Also note, the only place they used zip ties instead of compression fittings for the tubing is on the fill tube.

If I have to be critical about something, the Neptune lacks the convenience features of a front USB ports.  I might as well tack on no front headphone outputs while I'm being picky. However, keeping one's hands away from the front does seem like a good idea.  Those ain't no low-speed Yate Loons in there.

Yeah, I know.  Nice screws, huh? I think the USB and headphones are supposed to go there.  But can it do office work?  Yes.

But, boy, doesn't that just stick out. I mean, talk about hiding an elephant in plain sight. Or dare I say it ... a fish... out of water... Bwahahahaaaa!  Moving on, quickly, let's take a look at the software environment on the Neptune and finally run some benchmarks on this monster.
