Smooth Creations Far Cry 2 chassis

Say hi to the work of Jim and his crew

Smooth Creations was established in 1999 by Jim Saling. Originally supplying airbrushed cases for some gamer-oriented system builders such as Alienware, Smooth Creations now offers its own line of high performance desktops, and 'SmoothBook' notebooks. Mind you that for their most simple PCs you need to cough up well over a grand, and their most exquisite systems... can set you back 8000 USD. This is not at all targeted at the DIY budget conscious market at all, please bear that in mind. The chassis' are actually available in e-tail starting at roughly 800 USD.

On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at high-res and then scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D 12 MegaPixel.

Okay, so here's where this article will become a pictorial. There's only one way you can tell the tale of a chassis like this... and that's with the help of a lot of photos of course.

Arrival of the chassis. Mind you that the chassis was shipped out from the USA to Europe, the Netherlands. Here it'll have a brief stop, before ending up with the final owner, aka prize winner. The poor Fedex guy... he hurt his back.

After receiving a package, always verify that it was not damaged during transport. All is looking good here. The chassis was carefully packaged and arrived without a dent.

The chassis is based on a Cooler Master Cosmos series chassis, and they come nicely packaged in a soft cloth.

Now I do not know why and how this brings back memories, but paint two eyes on there and a mouth and we have Casper the friendly ghost right there, which would be a cool casemod as well I think ;)

Um hey now, I gotza mastah Photoshop skills... um yeah :
