Here we have one of the new Intel Core 2 Duo processors being used today. This is the E6600 Conroe model that runs on a 1066 MHz front side bus. The cheapest of the three yet it'll bring you an amount of bang for your bucks that is unprecedented.

And here we see the other two, the X6800 and E6700.

Indeed .. the new processors are still using Socket 775. That doesn't mean you can use Core 2 Duo on any Socket 775 mainboard though.

So it's like this. I enjoy silence so we'll passively water-cool these processors today.
