Here’s our 2nd second oneKyaner with Nemesys. One of the 1st guys to let me know he was interested in this Reader's Review thing. We’ve talked a few times. He 1st came to Guru for tech help with his Radeon 9700 Pro.
Here’s what he has, a 2.4GHz Pentium4 C overclocked to 3GHz, cooled by a Zalman 7000cu. He’s running his 512 mb of Corsair TwinX PC3700PT (256x2) at CAS 3-4-4-8. Both are plugged into an Abit IC7-G v1.0 motherboard running the v15 BIOS. For gaming deeds he turned to a Sapphire Radeon 9700 Pro, it’s running on Omega 3.6, it’s running at stock speeds. Sound chores are ran with a Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum and piped to his Cambridge Soundworks DTT 2500 5.1 speaker set. He’s got a Plextor 40/12/40A burner and a BTC16x DVD-Rom. He watches movies on a 17” Sony Multiscan 21ES CRT monitor.

There’s what everything’s stuffed into. A Skyhawk MSR-4698D7+W. It’s aluminium and it came with that window and the front LCD display stock. It’s got an Enermax 430W Whisper PSU in there. A 60+80mm fan are the only cooling fans on duty. Plus he has an exhaust slot blower below the videocard.

There's a blurry nightshot
The LCD on the front has a bunch of different things to display either time or CPU temp that it gets with the bundled temp probe. Which he used to monitor his CPU’s temps while he was doing his overclocking. Did we mention his bus is at 1ghz? He was having some problems with overclocking at 1st. He knew his goal was 3GHz. That's 3GHZ with a Zalman people, which are known for quietness, not cooling ability.
So what’s in store for Nemesys? Well she’s retiring in 2006, he builds a new rig from scratch every 3 years. He is debating a UPS backup power system since his PC’s are usually on 24/7.
Next one is JustLo, see ya then……
