Powercolor Radeon HD 4890 PCS+ review

PowerColor Radeon HD 4890 PCS+

When we flip the card on it's back we spot that the PCB is colored red, I really would have preferred black here to go along with the rest of the theme. We also see the nice copper back plate on top of the card, which makes it very sturdy.

You'll spot two external power connectors. You connect your power supply to both 6-pin power connectors. This card's TDP is roughly 190~200 Watts (peak) maximum. With an idle wattage of 60 Watts. The IDLE wattage can be this low due to flexible and dynamic clock frequencies on the GPU and lowering voltages based on GPU usage.

And there it is, doing a good workout in our test-lab. Alright, we just installed the card. Let's have a peek at heat levels, power consumption and see how noisy the cooler is.
