NVIDIA is 'replacing' well ... renewing some of their products as we speak, among the new products is the GeForce FX 5500 well new ... When I first asked NVIDIA about the 5500 they seemed utterly surprised and asked me why I was reviewing a 5500. A tad weird. Hey it's a big market and NVIDIA sells more low- and mid-end products then high-end these days. So why not ? People want to know. So today dear friends we will be testing the all new and completely low-end product the GeForce FX 5500. Performance wise expect an overclocked GeForce 5200 yet a tad faster.

The product originated from POV, Point Of View, a Dutch based company for numerous countries that slowly is taking a steady place in the big Graphics Card arena, people will also know them under the name Bestcom, they've established the PoV brand name in the year 2000. They have sales teams in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and France. This review ladies and gentlemen is a quick one, I received the product hours ago and decided I want a review online within the next two days. So this is not your standard 15 page review ... nope 13 pages ;)

Simplicity is what the product is about, it's dirt cheap, you'll be able to play a few games plus you'll have all the features that NVIDIA has to offer you. Dual monitor, outstanding media playback and a plethora of other features. This product is made for the person that really doesn't care that much for gaming yet wants the best features available that are not gaming related, and all that for bottom dollar ... that's the 5500 my friends, let's have a look on what Point Of View offers here.

I bet you are all getting a little curious, in the next few pages we'll walk you through the cards with some high resolution photo's. Then we'll do a series of benchmarks and an overclocking session after which we'll round things up in a nice conclusion. Have fun ;)
