PixelView FX5600 256 MB Golden Limited

What's in the box
A trend nowadays that I notice a lot is that we see less and less software in the box. It makes sense as manufacturers try to sell the product as cheap as possible. Including software raises the price. Prolink figured, hey let's go all the way and thus no less than 8 CD's where included. Software we found was of course the driver disk, some demo disks and next to that full versions of: Outbreak, Ballistics and Le Mans 24 Hours. Next to that you probably remembered that I said the card is VIVO. So Prolink threw in WinDVD4 and PowerDirector 2.5 to playback movies and of course record and edit them with PowerDirector which is quite adequate software. So the amount of software here is nothing to complain about.

The included goodies

Next to the software you'll find a connector cable for Composite & SVideo in and outputs, a CRT->DVI-I dongle to convert your digital DVI connector into a CRT type connection. Ideal if you want to use two monitors. Also we'll find a small composite cable, enough to get you started.

Installation
It's really not hard to install a graphics card yourself nowadays. Especially with brands like ATI and NVIDIA who use unified driver sets. If you have a really new product then make sure you have the latest drivers on your HD. Insert the graphics card, boot up windows, run the driver installation, then restart and you are set to go.

It's that easy these days. We did not run into any issues installing this graphics card.
