So then, the product we are testing today is PC Power & Cooling's latest and greatest flagship power supply. Its price is just under 200 USD, and it's a serious piece of gear. It will be a challenge, a really big challenge for us to stress this PSU to see how it keeps up with our components.

First off you get a near Kilowatt PSU. I certainly do hope that you don't need that amount of power draw from your PSU, but here's why I like the phat PSUs so much: I like reserves. That's it. I will probably never ever (and I hope so) use more than 1 KW. But I want to be sure that if install some new gear, I have plenty of reserves in that PC, as I do not want power distribution to be an issue what so friggen ever, no Sir.

Especially for those who overclock and play around with 2 or 3-way SLI or Quad SLI and Crossfire a lot ... really, you should have the same policy as I have. One thing can be said, the PSU we're showing you today is made for the extreme gamers and hardware enthusiasts among us.

It's ready for some brute gaming, as it has 74 AMPs available on the 12V line alone. But let's have a look at that power output/distribution for a second.

So while the PSU is rated at 910W, it's peak wattage will allow you to go even towards 1000W. Making it an 'unofficial' KiloWatt power supply really. What we like very much is the extremely high efficiency, the PSU is rated to be 88% efficient at normal load, which is an achievement all by itself.

PC P&C gives the PSU a MTBF of 100.000 hours. So if your computers is working 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year .. it would last you 11.4 years. They back the product up with a 5 year full warranty though. Anyway, there's no need to explain distribution rails or modable options, this PSU doesn't have any. It's brute and bold to the core. I kind of like that. Last note, of course the PSU is SLI certified.
