Patriot Warp v.2 Series 128GB SSD review

Photos - Patriot Warp Series (v2) SATA II 2.5" SSD - 128GB

On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at high-resolution and then cropped and scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D 12 MegaPixel.

Patriot Memory Warp v2 128GB SSD

The drive has the V2 logo clearly visible on it. Nearly military precision and build quality .. SSDs can take 1500 G. Other then the SSD and a manual you'll find nothing in there. But that was rather obvious.

You can find the model we tested under the product code PE128GS25SSD and obviously is the 2.5" SATA II 128 GB version. You should easily be ably to place it somewhere in your chassis. And next to that, it's a perfect fit for laptops of course. A black design with the serial and part number information laser etched in the housing.

Slim and light-weight, 9.5mm tall, the standard for notebook drives. When we look at the connectors, we spot the standard power and SATA connector, no mini-usb port which seems to become a trend nowadays. Installation wise it's the same as a traditional HDD. Pop it in, connect it, bind it, format it and you are good to go at Warp 2 speeds.
